Revif is a social network allowing families to adopt eco-responsible values ​​from a circular economy perspective. These Terms govern your use of Revif, and other products, features, applications, services, technology and software we offer), except where we expressly state that separate terms (and not these) apply. These Products are provided to you by Revif, Inc. By using our Products, you consent to our showing you advertisements that we believe are relevant to you based on your interests. We use your personal data to define the advertisements to show you.
We do not sell your personal data to advertisers and do not share information that directly identifies you (such as your name, email address or any other contact details) with advertisers, unless expressly authorized by you.

We are looking for ways to improve our services: We engage in research to develop, test and improve our Products. This includes analyzing the data we have about our users and understanding how people use our Products, for example, by conducting surveys and testing and resolving issues that arise in new features.

2. Terms of Use
We provide these services to you and others to further our mission. In return, we need you to make the following commitments:
2.1. Who can use Revif
When people are accountable for their opinions and actions, our community is safer and more accountable. For this reason, you must:
- use the same name you use on a daily basis
- provide accurate information about you;
- create a single account (yours) and use your journal for personal purposes;
- not share your password, allow others to access your Facebook account, or transfer your account to anyone (without our permission).
- you are under the age of 16 (or the minimum legal age in your country to use our Products);
- you are a convicted sex offender;
- we previously disabled your account for violating our Terms and Conditions or our Rules;
2.2 What you can share and do on Revif
We want people to use Revif to express themselves and share content related to our mission, but not at the expense of the safety and well-being of others or the integrity of our community. You therefore agree not to act in the manner described below (or encourage or support others to do so):
- You may not use our Products to do or share anything:
- that violates these Terms and policies applicable to your use of Revif;
- that is unlawful, misleading, discriminatory or fraudulent;
- which infringes or violates third-party rights, including intellectual property rights.
- You may not upload viruses or malicious code or act in any way that could disable, overburden, or impair the proper functioning or appearance of our Products.
We may remove or limit access to content that violates these provisions.
If we remove content you’ve shared because it violates our Community Standards, we’ll let you know and explain your options for requesting a review. You will not be able to make this request if you seriously or repeatedly violate these Terms or if doing so incurs our or any third party’s legal liability, harms our community of users, or compromises or alters the integrity or operation of our services, systems or Products, or where there are technical restrictions or where we are prohibited from doing so for legal reasons.
To help us support our community, we encourage you to report any content or behavior that you believe violates your rights or our terms and policies.
We may also remove or limit access to your content, services, or information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to avoid or mitigate adverse legal or regulatory effects on Revif.
3. Annual subscription:
An annual fee of $25 (plus taxes) applies when registering. This subscription will be automatically renewed on the expiry date. However, you can cancel your registration at any time. No refunds are offered when you cancel a subscription, delete an account or when your account is suspended due to non-compliance with the terms of use.
4. The permissions you grant us
We need certain permissions from you in order to provide our services:
- Permission to use content you create and share: Content you share or upload, such as photos or videos, may be protected by intellectual property rights.
- You own the intellectual property rights (such as copyrights and trademarks) to all content you create and share on Revif that you use. Nothing in these Terms takes away any rights you have to your own content. You are free to share your content with anyone, anywhere.
- However, in order for us to provide our services, you must grant us certain legal permissions (called “licenses”) to use this content. This is solely for the purpose of providing and improving our Products and services, as described in the Section above.
- In particular, when you share, post or upload content protected by intellectual property rights on or in connection with our Products, you grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, free, worldwide license to host, use, distribute, modify, perform, copy, publicly perform or publicly display, translate and create derivative works of your content (in accordance with your privacy settings) This means, for example, that if you share a photo on Revif, you allow us store, copy, and share it with others (again, subject to your settings), such as service providers who support our service or other Revif Products you use. This license ends when your content is deleted from our systems.
- Permission to use your name, profile picture and information about your actions in connection with advertisements and sponsored content:you authorize us to use your name and profile picture and information about actions you have taken on Revif as a result of or in connection with advertisements, offers and other sponsored content we display through our Products, without paying you any compensation.
- Permission to update the software you use or download:if you download or use our software, you authorize us to download and install software updates as they become available.
5. Delete an account
You can delete your individual content or your annual subscription.
When you delete content, it is no longer visible to other users. However, it may persist elsewhere, in our systems, when:
- Immediate deletion is not possible due to technical restrictions (in which case your content will be deleted within a maximum of 90 days from the time you delete it);
- Your content has been used by third parties in accordance with the license, and they have not removed it (in which case, this license continues to apply until the content is removed); or
- Where immediate deletion would limit our ability:
- identify or investigate illegal activities or violations of our terms and policies (for example, identify or investigate misuse of our Products or systems);
- to comply with a legal obligation, such as the preservation of evidence; or
- to comply with the request of a judicial or administrative authority, law enforcement authority or governmental body;
6. Limits on the use of our intellectual property
If you use content covered by intellectual property rights that we own and make available in our Products (for example, images, designs, videos or sounds that we provide and that you add to content that you create or share on Revif), we retain all rights to that content (but not yours). You may only use our copyrights or trademarks (or any other similar mark) as expressly authorized in writing by us. You must obtain our written permission (or permission under an open source license) to modify, create derivative works from, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract our source code.

2. Suspension or deletion of an account
We want to make Revif a place that is both warm and secure, where everyone can express themselves and share their opinions and ideas.
If you are found to have blatantly, seriously or repeatedly violated our Terms or our Rules, including our Community Standards, we may suspend or permanently disable access to your account. We may also suspend or deactivate your account if you repeatedly infringe third-party intellectual property rights or if we are required by law to do so.
If we do so, we’ll let you know and explain your options for requesting a review, unless doing so could subject us or a third-party to legal liability, harm our user community, or compromise or impair the integrity or operation of our sources, systems or Products, or where there are technical restrictions or where we are prohibited from doing so for legal reasons. Please note that no refunds are offered when your account is suspended or deleted by Revif or by the member themselves.
3. Limits of liability
We make every effort to provide the best possible Products and give clear guidelines to all users. However, our Products are provided “as is” and we cannot guarantee that they will always be secure, risk-free or error-free, or that they will operate without interruptions, delays or imperfections. To the extent permitted by law, we also disclaim ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We can’t control or direct what people do or say, and we’re not responsible for their actions or conduct (online or offline) or the content they share (whether offensive, inappropriate, obscene, illegal or otherwise objectionable).
We are unable to predict when problems may arise with our Products. Accordingly, our liability shall be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and we shall in no event be liable to you for loss of profits, revenue, information or data, or incidental, special, indirect, exemplary, punitive or incidental arising out of or in connection with these terms or the Revif Products, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
4. Disputes
We try to provide clear rules so that we can limit or hopefully avoid disputes between you and us. If a dispute does arise, however, it helps to know in advance where it can be resolved and what laws will apply.
If you are a consumer, the laws of the country in which you reside will apply to any claim, cause of action or dispute against us arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Revif Products. here, and you may resolve your claim in any competent court in that country which can adjudicate the claim. In all other cases, you agree that these claims will be resolved exclusively in a Canadian court or a court in the province of Quebec. You also agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of any such court in connection with any such claims and acknowledge that the law of the Province of Quebec shall govern these Terms and any claims, without regard to the provisions regarding conflicts of laws.
5. Other
- These Terms (formerly known as the “Statement of Rights and Responsibilities”) form the entire agreement between you and Revif, Inc. with respect to your use of our Products. They supersede all previous agreements.
- If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining part will remain in full force and effect. If we fail to enforce any of these Terms, this will not be considered a waiver. Any amendment to or waiver of these Terms must be in writing and signed by us.
- You will not transfer any of your rights or obligations under these Terms to any third party without our consent.
- These Terms do not confer any third party beneficiary rights. All of our rights and obligations under these Terms are freely assignable by us in connection with any merger, acquisition or sale of our assets, or by operation of law or otherwise. case.
- You should be aware that we may need to change the username associated with your account in certain circumstances (for example, when another person claims the username and the username seems unrelated with the name you use every day). We will let you know in advance if we need to do this and explain why.
- We always welcome your feedback and other suggestions about our products and services. Please be aware, however, that we may use them without any restriction or obligation to pay, and that we are under no obligation to keep them confidential.
- We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you.
